WHAT IS IT?
WG13 is a licensed bar and restaurant and a venue with a twist!
As well as offering you good food, a great space for entertainment, training and catering in our beautifully refurbished building. We support people in our community to gain experience and qualifications to help them move into employment in the hospitality and leisure sector.
WG13 is an arm of the Council of Voluntary Organisations (East Ayrshire) Ltd, which is a registered Scottish Charity.
The building is in a central location with good access to the train and bus stations with car parking facilities near by. We hope to contribute to the continued regeneration of Kilmarnock town centre as well as providing much needed employment support.
WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?
Our research found that there are few real commercial opportunities for adults with additional support needs to gain work experience, industry standard qualifications and training.
We found out what business sectors are growing, what they are looking for in employees, and built it into the heart of everything we do at WG13.
